Rare Wine Dinner: A Tribute to Luciano Sandrone
Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 6:30pm | Legacy Records, New York City
Luciano Sandrone was one of the most influential growers in Barolo of his generation. Sandrone captivated wine lovers all over the world with his Barolos while also inspiring younger growers to transition from selling grapes and bulk wine to becoming estate producers in their own right. We will taste a number of superb wines going back to the early bottlings of the 1980s to Sandrone’s new Barolo Vite Talin. Hosted by Antonio Galloni. Please note that spaces for this event are extremely limited.
Massolino: Barolo Riserva Vigna Rionda Vertical & Lunch
Friday, January 31, 2025 at 12:00pm | Manhatta Restaurant, New York City
We are looking forward to welcoming Franco Massolino for this very special vertical and lunch featuring the Massolino family’s flagship Barolo Riserva Vigna Rionda. We will taste a wide range of vintages, from modern-day classics such as the 2010 all the way back to the iconic 1996. Hosted by Antonio Galloni. Please note that spaces for this event are extremely limited.
Big Bottle Gala Dinner & Charity Auction
Friday, January 31, 2025 at 6:30pm | The Pool, New York City
We are delighted to welcome guests to The Pool, New York City’s most elegant dining room, for what promises to be an extraordinary evening of wine, food and the camaraderie the great wines of Barolo inspire. Fifteen leading producers will each host a table and pour wines from their library. In the spirit of conviviality, we invite guests to share bottles from their own cellars. The Gala Dinner is the perfect occasion to open rare large formats and special bottles. Traditionally many of our readers enjoy putting together their own tables. Please contact us directly if you would like to purchase an entire table for the Gala Dinner.
